See
the difference!

Hour Photo has made
an investment in YOUR photos.

The
photograph on the left was printed at a photographic lab with less than
the best equipment. Many people blame drab, lifeless photos on their
self-perceived lack of photographic skill.
Photographic labs with old,
poorly-maintained equipment won't be in a hurry to point out that the
same photo would look better when printed on state-of-the-art
photographic equipment, by a skilled operator.
The photograph on the right is, of
course a result of the best available photographic equipment.
See the real difference that we can
make!

Quality
Monitoring
Our trained team monitor every photo
that we print, adjusting density and colour balance. Our equipment is
modern, well maintained, and regularly calibrated. This guarantees you
the best prints possible. A disappointing photo printed elsewhere will
look better re-printed by us! |
 |
Quality
Assurance
Each photo is quality checked after
processing, for colour balance, correct density, and overall quality.
Where improvements can be made, we reprint any individual photographs to
meet our exacting standards. |

Digital
Imaging
John is seen here producing a
print-to-print copy on our Digital Pictrostat. We can produce produce
prints up to A3 in size (12 x 18") from negatives, slides, or your
original photographs, and we can improve the image by adjusting colour
saturation, brightness and contrast. We can produce some fantastic
results from old, faded precious photographs. |
